About Our Founder
Oded Salomy is the founder of Paywise Network and a recognized leader in the global payments ecosystem. Until 2025, he served as a member of the Executive Committee at the Bank of Israel, the country's central bank, where he led the domestic payments regulation. During his tenure, he drove landmark reforms that opened Israel’s payments market to competition, positioned it as a global model for innovation and led ongoing international collaboration with other markets.
Before entering public service, Oded held senior roles at Visa, where he led two national markets, founded and directed the company’s Tel Aviv Innovation Studio, and served on Visa’s European Innovation and Strategic Partnerships leadership team. He also founded a startup in mobile payments and led financial services for a global mobility platform.
A graduate of Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania and a corporate attorney by training, Oded is a frequent speaker at global industry events and has particularly enjoyed teaching an accredited MBA course on the payments industry for the last several years.
Through Paywise, Oded brings this experience together to offer education, consulting, and capital support to organizations shaping the future of payments — from startups and corporates to regulators and investors.
